We live here, in a beautiful country full of contrasts, traditions, different
people and ideas. Its full name is Rzeczpospolita Polska (The Republic
of Poland), but it's better known, simply as Poland. You can find this
land in Central Europe, in the Wisla (Vistula) and Odra (Oder) basins,
between Carpathian Mountains and Baltic Sea, It's spreaded from Lowland
with picturesque lakes, swamps of the river Bug, white uplands of Jura,
the Sudety Mountains, primeval forests, to the deserts, dunes and undiscovered
islands.
This is home of independence, freedom, democracy, brilliant scientific
ideas, pope John Paul II, "Solidarnosc", great folklore, rich
culture, old monuments and unforgettable, even relict traditions. It's
genuinely exquisite land, worth discovering and seen.
